Ingredients
  

  • 4 salmon fillets 6 oz each
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 tsp sesame oil optional
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley or green onions
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds optional
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Pat salmon dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, vinegar, and sesame oil.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high.
  4. Cook salmon skin-side down for 4-5 minutes.
  5. Flip and cook 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add sauce and simmer until glossy.
  7. Spoon glaze over salmon.
  8. Rest 2 minutes.
  9. Serve.

Notes

  • Pat salmon dry for better browning.
  • Thicker fillets require extra cooking time.
  • Remove at 140-145°F.
  • Sauce thickens quickly-watch closely.
